Two opportunities to talk about PIMM
During Ecomondo, our Head of Business Development Francesco Pais will deliver two talks dedicated to PIMM (Plant Information Modeling & Management), offering two different but complementary perspectives on the future of information management in industrial plants.
The first appointment will be on Wednesday, 4 November at 11:45 am at the Forum Area of CIB – Consorzio Italiano Biogas e Gassificazione (Italian Biogas and Gasification Consortium), Hall D5, Stand 314, with the talk:
“Designing biogas plants with the future in mind: from BIM to PIMM (Plant Information Modeling & Management)”
A talk specifically focused on the biogas sector, exploring how structured information management can take a project beyond modelling alone and create continuity between design and the future operation of the plant.
On 5 November at 11:00 am, Francesco will return to the topic at Agorà Tiberio – Water Cycle Area, Hall D8, with a second talk:
“When the Digital Twin ages before the real asset: beyond BIM with PIMM (Plant Information Modeling & Management)”
This time, the focus will broaden to the Digital Twin and the information lifecycle, showing why a digital model retains its value over time only if the data behind it remains up to date, accessible and genuinely usable.
Two opportunities to explore our approach to PIMM and discuss how to create greater continuity between process data, P&IDs, the 3D model and technical documentation, placing information at the centre of the entire plant lifecycle.
